Police ID Woman Found Dead In Palo Alto Park

PALO ALTO (CBS SF) -- A transient woman who was found dead in a Palo Alto park on Saturday morning has been identified as 72-year-old Gloria Bush, the Santa Clara County coroner's bureau said Sunday.

First responders arrived at Heritage Park at 351 Homer Ave. around 7:20 a.m. after a passerby reported seeing a woman on the ground, according to police.

Arriving officers found Bush, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there were no signs of foul play and that it appears Bush was a transient who frequented the park.

The cause of her death remains under investigation.
