San Jose Police Ask For Help Finding Victims Of Walmart Crash Caught On Tape

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- San Jose police investigators are asking the public to help identify bystanders seen in surveillance video from a March 31st crash caught on Walmart security cameras.  The suspect, Haamid Zaid, is seen getting out of the red classic car and then appears to assault shoppers with a blunt object.

Police are hoping to interview potential victims and witnesses as they make their case.  One victim suffered a serious but not life-threatening injury. Three others were treated at the scene.

Customers detained the suspect inside the store, holding him until police arrived.

Zaid faces four counts of assualt with a deadly weapon, hit and run, resisting arrest, and being under the influence of drugs.
