Alameda Police Search For Missing Woman With Alzheimer's Last Seen Walking Dog

ALAMEDA (CBS SF) -- Alameda police were searching for a missing woman who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and may need help.

Harriet Holbrook, 68, was last seen around noon Saturday in front of her home in Alameda, police said.

She is described as a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall and approximately 110 pounds, with shoulder length gray and black hair and brown eyes, police said. She might be wearing her glasses, and was last seen wearing a blue zippered hooded sweat jacket, blue jeans and hiking boots.

Harriet was last seen with her dog, a medium-sized chocolate Labrador retriever, and is probably walking with it still, police said.

Anyone with information on her location is asked to call police immediately at (510) 337-8340.
