Police Investigating Officer-Involved Shooting Near San Jose Park
SAN JOSE (KCBS)_ Police in San Jose are investigating a Friday afternoon, officer-involved shooting.
A spokesman for the San Jose Police Department said police responded to reports of some kind of argument on Cape Horn Drive in North San Jose near Penitencia Creek Park.
According to police, at least one of the people involved in that dispute was armed and shots were fired within minutes of the officers arriving on scene just before 3:30 p.m.
Police have not released any identifying information about the suspect who was injured, but said the person was taken to the hospital. No police were injured during the incident, which is under investigation.
