SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — More than 4500 San Francisco and Daly City residents lost power Saturday evening due to a downed wire, according to a PG&E spokesman.

A total of 4,747 customers in the Sunset District and Daly City lost power just before 6:30 p.m. due to a downed wire at state Highway 1 and Skyline Boulevard in Daly City, PG&E spokesman J.D. Guidi said.

Power was fully restored to all customers shortly after 7:30 p.m., Guidi said.

The cause of the downed wire remains under investigation.
