Police Find Body Inside Car In San Francisco’s Mission District

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — The body of a deceased person was found inside a vehicle in San Francisco’s Inner Mission District Saturday afternoon, a police sergeant said.

University of California police officers found the body in a vehicle on 17th Street near Treat Street at about 12:22 p.m., San Francisco police Sgt. Danielle Newman said.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released and the incident is being investigated by the San Francisco medical examiner’s office, Newman said.
