Raid On San Jose Tattoo Parlor Nets More Than A Dozen Drug Arrests

SAN JOSE (KPIX 5) - A raid on a San Jose tattoo parlor that federal agents say was the front for drug operation has resulted in the arrest of about 20 suspects Thursday, according to authorities.

FBI agents and officers from a number of agencies participated in the raid at the KintoSol tattoo shop at 505 10th Street.

Investigators said those arrested belong to a subset of the Sureño gang and were using the shop was a hub for their crystal meth operation.

The investigation which resulted in simultaneous warrants served Thursday had been in the work for two to three years, according to authorities.
