Arriving officers found an unresponsive man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds in the bar’s parking lot, he said.

Emergency medical personnel were on the scene but the man was declared dead, Hardester said.

The victim is described as a 30-year-old black man whose identity has not been released, according to Hardester.

No arrests have been made and police continue to investigate the case, Hardester said.
