SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Two people were wounded in a shooting in San Jose Sunday afternoon, a police spokesman said.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired near Burdette Drive and S. King Road at about 1:25 p.m., Officer Albert Morales said.

Arriving police found a man and a woman each suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Morales said.

The two victims were taken to a hospital to be treated, and their condition was not immediately known, Morales said.

The suspects fled the scene and remain at large, he said.
