Narsai David: 'The Oh She Glows Cookbook' With Vegan Recipes

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— 'The Oh She Glows Cookbook' by Angela Liddon has over 100 vegan recipes that claim they'll make you glow from inside out. It's a bit unusual, but it has me intrigued on the use of real, whole food ingredients.

The recipes are really creative, but I'm not so sure about some of the claims of which oils are good for you and whether you put kombu in beans will help you digest them better or not.

Forgetting that for a moment and just looking at the contents of the recipes and the way the dishes were put together. Liddon divides it up into a bunch of helpful chapters and provides the basics of what you should have in your pantry. You should expect subcategories like; breakfast, appetizers, salad, soup, and entrees.

'The Oh She Glows Cookbook' With Vegan Recipes

Take note of the black-bean vegan burger. It looks like a genuinely meaningful substitute for a hamburger. The broccoli with cashew cheese and quinoa burrito is another dish that sounds absolutely delicious.
