SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) — One of the biggest stories in the west – if not the biggest – is our historic drought. Both state and federal water allocations have been cut, reservoirs are historically low and the snow pack and the rainfall are well below normal.
Dr. Doug Parker, Director of the California Institute of Water Resources discusses the implications of the current drought and the solutions that are being looked at.
