Gunman On Loose After Man Shot In SF's Bayview District
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was shot multiple times near Hilltop Park in San Francisco's Bayview District on Monday night, according to police.
The shooting was reported just before 10:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of La Salle Avenue, police said.
A male suspect drove up in a white four-door car, stopped the vehicle, got out and started shooting at a 22-year-old man. The gunfire struck the victim multiple times in the torso, police said.
The suspect then drove off and had not been found as of this morning.
The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
