Victims Flee Scene Of SF Crash That Sent 7 To Hospital

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Seven people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in San Francisco early Wednesday morning, at the intersection of Geary Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue.

Police said it happened about 12:30 a.m., with the impact of the collision knocking out a signal light on Van Ness, and for a time, blocking traffic in both directions.

According to initial reports, it appears one of the vehicles crossed the center divide on Van Ness and hit the other vehicle.

It is still unclear exactly who was driving the car, as several people ran from the scene of the crash. None of the people involved has admitted to being behind the wheel.

All seven people were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.
