1 Killed, 1 Hurt In East Oakland Shooting

OAKLAND (CBS SF) - One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in East Oakland late Tuesday night and the suspect remains at large.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 5900 block of Bromley Avenue at about 11:05 p.m., Officer J. Moore said.

When officers arrived, they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, Moore said.

Moore said one man was pronounced dead at the scene and another man was transported to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.

No suspect information was immediately available. The shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Oakland police.
