Santa Clara Pedestrian Hit, Killed On Highway 101 Near Great American Parkway
SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner was called to the scene of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian on northbound U.S. Highway 101 just north of Great American Parkway in Santa Clara, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Callers began reporting seeing a pedestrian on the freeway shortly after 8:30 p.m., and then a caller reported striking a pedestrian just before 9 p.m., according to CHP officials.
