Small Earthquake Shakes Area North Of Clear Lake

UPPER LAKE, Lake County (CBS SF) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 rattled an area of Lake County north of Clear Lake, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 9:27 a.m. 10 miles northeast of the town of Upper Lake, which is about 8 miles north of the lake’s north shore.

There were no reports of damage or injuries from the quake.
