Police Seek Armed Man Who Robbed Woman In Front Of A Walnut Creek Bar

WALNUT CREEK (BCN) -- Police in Walnut Creek are investigating an armed robbery that occurred just outside a bar Friday night.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just happened in front of the Corners Tavern located at 1342 Broadway Plaza at about 11:15 p.m., police said.

Investigators learned that a suspect used a handgun to rob a female of her iPhone and purse, according to police.

Police said the suspect then fled in a red colored Honda hatchback car, possibly a Civic, which was being driven by an unknown suspect.

The suspects were not found. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect who robbed the female is described as a dark complexion man in his early 20s, about 6 feet 1 inches tall with a medium build. The other suspect was not seen.
