3 Armed Gunmen Rob San Carlos Trader Joe's Store

SAN CARLOS (CBS SF) -- The San Mateo County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery Wednesday at a Trader Joe's grocery store in San Carlos.

Deputies responded around 9:30 p.m. to the Trader Joe's at 1492 El Camino Real on a report of an armed robbery.

Investigators said three male suspects entered the market just after closing, displayed silver semi-automatic handguns and demanded cash.

All three men were wearing hooded sweatshirts, gloves, black pants and had bandanas covering their faces.
