Dublin Police Shoot, Kill Man While Responding To Domestic Disturbance Call

DUBLIN (CBS SF) -- A man was shot and killed by police responding to a domestic disturbance call in Dublin Sunday evening, a police lieutenant said.

Officers responded around 6:15 p.m. to the domestic disturbance report in the 7000 block of Dublin Meadows Street, Dublin police Lt. Herb Walters said.

At one point during the call, police shot the suspect, according to Walters.

The man died from his injuries. No other injuries were reported.

Walters did not say what prompted police to shoot the suspect, and no further information was not immediately available.
