Muni Bus, Car Collide In San Francisco's Theater District
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A car collided with a Muni bus in San Francisco's Theater District Monday night.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Geary Blvd and Jones Street.
Witnesses said the driver of a black car making a pizza delivery slammed into the middle of an articulated bus.
"This car hit the bus. He was coming down too fast. Everybody was sitting here talking and looking at the bus. You can determine the bus either ran an amber or red light," witness Oliver Paledez said.
The driver of the car was taken away by ambulance.
