Concord Police Looking For Teen In Three Groping Assaults on Walking Path

CONCORD (CBS SF) — Concord police released a sketch on Tuesday of a teen who sexually assaulted three women in separate incidents on a neighborhood walking path in the past two months, a police lieutenant said.

Each assault occurred on a path between North Larwin and South Larwin avenues in which the juvenile approached a woman from behind and groped her over her clothing before he ran away, Lt. David Hughes said.

None of the women were injured or threatened in each incident, he said.

The first assault happened shortly before noon on March 22. The other two assaults occurred on May 1 around 8:45 p.m. and the third assault was days later on May 4 at about 6:55 p.m., Hughes said.

The juvenile is described as Hispanic or Asian in his early to late teens standing about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin to average build and short black hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Concord police Detective Tamra Roberts at (925) 671-3235. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call the Concord Police Department's tip line at (925) 603-5836.
