Napa Man Stabbed In Neck With Screwdriver

NAPA (CBS SF) — A man was arrested for stabbing another man in the neck with a screwdriver early Monday morning, police said Wednesday.

The stabbing victim was helping his girlfriend retrieve property from her locked vehicle at an apartment complex in the 2600 block of First  Street around 3:15 a.m. Monday.

The victim's girlfriend said 20-year-old Antonio Ruben Natal took her car keys and would not give them back. Natal shoved the girlfriend away when she tried to grab her car keys and then confronted the victim, Troendly said.

That's when Natal and the victim began fighting. Witnesses saw Natal stabbed him in the neck, then separated the two men while the stabbing victim went to his apartment and called police.

Natal was arrested at his apartment on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon likely to cause great bodily injury.
