Brentwood Ice Cream Man Accused Of Dealing Drugs From His Truck

BRENTWOOD (KPIX 5) — A man selling ice cream was arrested at a Brentwood gas station Wednesday afternoon after authorities said he was offering methamphetamine for sale.

Authorities arrested 62-year-old Kelly Brown of Oakley, a seller for Kelly’s Ice Cream, at the Arco station on Balfour Road.

Police said they received a call from a Brentwood resident who told officers who said Kelly tried to sell some drugs. Officers caught up with Kelly at the gas station, where he was arrested for suspected methamphetamine possession.

Brown has been booked into the Contra Costa County Jail in Martinez.

Kelly’s Ice Cream did not respond to request for comment Wednesday night.
