#YesAllWomen Picks Up Steam In Response To Isla Vista Killer’s Remarks

ISLA VISTA (CBS SF) — Elliot Rodger ranted about how much he hated women, and wanted to punish them before going on a killing rampage in Isla Vista, and women are striking back on social media.

The hashtag ‘YesAllWomen’ has been gaining momentum as women share their experiences with misogyny.

One woman tweeted, “I really shouldn’t have to carry my keys in between my knuckles while walking home from the bus stop.”

Another woman tweeted, “I shouldn’t have to consider myself one of the lucky ones because I’ve never been a victim of sexual assault.”
