UC President Napolitano Forms LGBT Advisory Group
BERKELEY (CBS) -- University of California President Janet Napolitano is trying to create a more welcome and inclusive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students.
Napolitano plans to form a LGBT advisory group.
So far, the group has yet to be named. The decision comes after 2 years of research on LGBT issues by the UC Task Force.
The panel gave its recommendation to Napolitano on Friday.
