Several Businesses Evacuated In Mountain View Bomb Scare

MOUNTAIN VIEW (KCBS) – Mountain View police evacuated several businesses around El Camino on Thursday while bomb sniffing dogs investigated a bomb threat at a shopping center.

Police evacuated the shopping center at 121 East El Camino around 11:40 a.m. as a precaution, said Sgt. Paul Jaeger.

“We got a call of a bomb threat to Walgreens,” he said, so all businesses in that mall and the adjacent parking lot were evacuated.

Jaeger said residents should avoid the area while the bomb squad investigates. As of 12:15 p.m., there were no reports of injuries.
