Sunday Is A Spare The Air Day

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) — The Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued its fourth Spare the Air Alert for smog in 2014.

Air quality is forecast to be unhealthy Sunday, June 8, 2014. Triple digit temperatures in the inland valleys, combined with low winds and motor vehicle exhaust, were expected to cause unhealthy ozone pollution in the Bay Area.

Residents are asked to drive less but there is no free transit Sunday. Also, there is no wood burning ban in place.
