Fremont Fire Crews Put Out Grass Fire After 1-Hour Battle

FREMONT (CBS SF) -- Fire crews have extinguished a one-alarm grass fire in Fremont, according to an Alameda County Fire Department dispatcher.

The fire was reported around 10:15 a.m. in the area of 37999 Stenhammer Drive, the dispatcher said.

Firefighters attacked the blaze and had it extinguished about an hour later, he said.

No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged in the fire.
