Hi, it’s Jayn with another 15 things you can do in the Bay Area from Geico.

1 – Stop into the Marine Mammal Center, nestled in the Marin Headlands, on June 19th for their next Deep Dive event. “Cali, Born & Bred”, featuring local food, local beer, local music and celebrating the California sea lion–most of whom are born in the month of June!

2 –Join California Academy of Sciences for their NightLife 21 and over event Thursday June 19th from 6-10 pm. Including the second installment of the NightLife LIVE Music & Art Series

3 – Spice up your workweek with the open-air salsa dance party in Jessie Square, taking place Thursday June 19th from 6-7:30.

4 – Enjoy interactive games? Try out brand new games at Playtesting Bash at The Go Game Headquarters in San Francisco on Thursday June 19th from 7-10 pm.

5 – Cozy up with Off the Grid at “Twilight at the Presidio”–a free weekly evening event on the Main Post Lawn from 5-9 pm every Thursday.

6 – Explore the challenges and triumphs of national parks around the world through Crown Jewels, a new exhibit at the Presidio presented by he Presidio Trust on Thursday June 19th.

7 – Bring the family out to a free movie showing in downtown Redwood City on Courthouse Square on Thursday June 19th at 8:45 pm for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.”

8 – International Surfing Day is Friday June 20th! Everyone is invited to come join the San Francisco chapter of the Surfrider Foundation by cleaning up Baker Beach on June 20th at 4pm. There will be a complimentary BBQ for volunteers after the cleanup. KITS Live 105 will be providing the tunes to keep you grooving.

9 – Get out and enjoy Friday Nights with the de Young Museum starting at
5 pm on June 20th. Typically a eclectic mix of live music, dance performances, film screenings, panel discussions, lectures, artist demos, hands-on art activities, and more is included.

10 – Explore Northern California’s largest Woodie show that features more than 200 stylish, pre-1952 wood-paneled cars. It is happening Saturday June 21st at the Santa Cruz Wharf from 10am to 4pm.

11 – The 2014 World Cup USA vs. Portugal game will be showing live at the San Francisco Civic Center Plaza, on Sunday June 22nd.

12 – The Oakland Athletics host the Red Sox in a four-game series at O dot CO coliseum starting Thursday June 19th, first pitch is set for 7:05 pm.

13 – Second game will be held on Friday June 20th and is set to start at 7:05 pm.

14 – Third game will be held on Saturday June 21st starting at 1:05 pm.

15 – Fourth game will be held on Sunday June 22nd, first pitch at 1:05 pm.
