3 Injured In 2 Separate SF Bayview District Shootings On Sunday

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF/BCN)— Two separate shootings injured three victims, including a teenage girl, in San Francisco's Bayview/Hunters Point neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to police.

The first shooting was reported at 1:55 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Oakdale Avenue, according to police.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the thigh. The suspect was able to get away and had not been arrested as of Monday morning, police said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Another shooting was reported at 3:19 p.m. near Third Street and Oakdale Avenue.

A 39-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were standing on the street when they were shot by a group of three male suspects, police said.

Both victims were shot in the leg and were taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, police said.

The suspects in that incident had not been found as of Monday morning either, according to police.
