Dad Holding Toddler Casually Makes Barehanded Grab Of Homer At Giants Game

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Most Giants fans will be trying to quickly forget the team's 3-game sweep at the hands of the Colorado Rockies, but one dad made a memory Sunday that he'll be telling his child about for decades.

During the 3rd inning of the Father's Day game, Giants nemesis (and Bay Area native) Troy Tulowitzki blasted a homer to center field. At the same time, a dad carrying a young child walked out of the shadowy tunnel to the center field concessions area. Apparently his eyes adjusted quickly, because he then made the catch of the day in Major League Baseball. Check it out:

For the most part, dads were sent home unhappy - with the result of the game at least - as the Rockies came back late in the game to steal the win for the third time in the series.
