GEICO’s 15 Things To Do In The Bay Area

Hey all! It’s Jayn with another 15 things you can do in the Bay Area.

1 – Outside of Brazil, there’s no better place to watch soccer than the Civic Center–showing the USA vs. Germany World Cup game, Thursday June 26th starting at 9:00am.

2 – 5pm Thursday, you can see the Asian Art Museum for just $5.

3 – Stanford Shopping Center hosts Summer Jazz, free concerts throughout the summer of 2014, also on Thursday, at 6pm.

4 – Jack London Square’s Waterfront Flicks shows “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” on June 26th. The movie rolls at sundown.

5 – Friday night is the time to be at the de Young, for free. There is dance, films, lectures, and hands-on art.

6 – Friday June 28th is the SF Beard and Mustache Club’s monthly gathering at Zeitgeist in San Francisco at 7 pm.

7 – Free dance lessons!! And it’s under the stars – at Jack London Square, Friday June 27th starting at 8:30pm.

8 – The 2014 Hop N’ Barley Beer and BBQ Festival features 60 breweries, BBQ and two stages of live music from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Located at Skypark in Scotts Valley.

9 – Sunday June 29th is Off the Grid — the Presidio Picnic and Food Truck Party.
It starts at 11am.

10 – The Picklewater Free Circus Festival in Union Square is Sunday, June 29th. There’s plenty of carnival craziness from unicycles and acrobats and more.

11 – Free bus tours of the Navy cleanup sites at Hunters Point Naval Shipyard (HPNS) on Saturday, June 28. You’ll need to RSVP and fill out some questions.

12 – The San Francisco Giants host the Cincinnati Reds at AT&T Park starting on Thursday June 26th for a four game series. First pitch of the series will be at 7:15pm.

13 – The second game of the series will start at 7:15pm on Friday June 27th.

14 – The third game will be held on Saturday June 28th starting at 7:05pm.

15 – The fourth game of the series will be on Sunday June 29th at 1:05pm.
