San Leandro Man Dies At Electronic Daisy Carnival Music Festival

SAN LEANDRO (KCBS) -- A San Leandro man died Saturday morning at a popular electronic music festival in Las Vegas.

Twenty-four-year-old Montgomery Tsang was identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office after he was rushed from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway to a nearby hospital after a call for medical assistance. The call came in at just before 6:15am.

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the site of the Electric Daisy Carnival. The electronic music festival began on Friday and ends on Sunday. More than 100,000 people attend each night.

Police said there were 29 drug-related arrests at the festival on Friday night and more than 200 calls for medical assistance.
