Asiana Flight 214 Crash Report To Be Released

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A federal safety board report is expected to reveal the official cause of the Asiana Airlines crash at San Francisco International Airport in July of last year that left three people dead.

The report, which is expected to be released Tuesday, will cover everything from pilot training and complex airline equipment, to the actions of the emergency response teams on the ground after Asiana Flight 214 crashed onto the runway after a trip from Seoul South Korea with 12 crew members, and 291 passengers on board.

Boeing and Asiana are still at odds over how much blame lies with the other.

The increasing complexity of airline computers and controls in general will also be examined in the report.
