CHP Officer Shoots Suspect After Car Chase In Contra Costa County
MARTINEZ (CBS SF) -- The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Saturday night officer-involved shooting in Martinez involving a California Highway Patrol officer, a sheriff's office spokesman said.
Sheriff's office spokesman Jimmy Lee said the shooting occurred on 4600 block of Pacheco Boulevard.
The person shot was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
Details surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.
