Man Suspected Of Taking Upskirt Photo On 17-Mile Drive In Pebble Beach

MONTEREY COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A 24-year-old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of using his camera phone on 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach to take photos of a woman under her dress, Monterey County sheriff's officials said today.

Jordan Pollacci, a Monterey resident, was booked into county jail in Salinas on suspicion of misdemeanor invasion of privacy and a felony probation violation, according to the sheriff's office.

At about 3:50 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a call on 17-Mile Drive at Bird Rock Road in Pebble Beach, where a family was outside enjoying the views at a popular turnout on the scenic road.

A man was spotted squatting down and reaching forward with a camera in his hand behind a woman, taking pictures up her dress without her knowledge, deputies said.

The woman's husband confronted the man, snapped a cellphone picture of him and took down the license number of a 2006 Dodge Dakota pickup truck that the suspect used to drive away, according to deputies.

Deputies from the sheriff's coastal patrol unit used the information to locate and arrest Pollacci.
