Raiders, 49ers Linebackers Moore, Brooks, Ranked As Teams' Most Underrated Players

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- The most underrated players on the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers are both linebackers, according to a veteran NFL columnist - each a solid contributor to linebacking corps that are among the league's best.

Columnist Pete Prisco named the most overrated and underrated player on each NFL team on Friday in a piece for CBSSports.com

Raiders linebacker Sio Moore was named the team's most underrated for his impressive rookie season in 2013. Prisco says Moore has the speed needed to play the position the way it needs to be played.  Moore  is part of what SB Nation called a high-ceiling, extremely athletic linebacker group which now has the added addition of No. 5 overall pick Khalil Mack.

Prisco said Raiders running back Darren McFadden was the team's most overrated player, saying he has been consistently inconsistent since coming into the NFL.

The San Francisco 49ers may have the best linebacking corps in the National Football League, and Prisco calls outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks the 49ers' most underrated player, who is often the overlooked linebacker in a four-man group that includes All-Pro inside backers Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman, along with fellow outside linebacker Aldon Smith.

Prisco calls guard Mike Iupati the 49ers most overrated player, saying his selection to the Pro Bowl last season was based on reputation.
