(CBS SF) – 20th Century Fox has released the first full length movie preview of David Fincher’s “Gone Girl” starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris and Tyler Perry.
The film is based on Gillian Flynn’s best selling novel and who adapted the screenplay for the film. Influenced by some fans of the novel who were not happy with the book’s ending, Flynn decided to tweak the movie ending to accommodate those not satisfied by the book.
The film follows Nick Dunne, played by Affleck, whose wife goes missing. With mounting pressure from the media and police, Dunne’s mentality breaks down and begins to exert strange behavior which leads to suspicions against him.
Gone Girl” arrives in theaters October 3.
