SANTA CLARA (KCBS)— With everything on schedule, according to the 49ers, for the opening of Levi’s Stadium less than a month from now; public tours of the billion-dollar plus facility have gone on sale with an emphasis on affordability.
For fans who can’t afford the pricey tickets for Niner games, they can now pay $25 for a behind-the-scenes tour of the state-of-the-art stadium.
“You’ll see all the club spaces on the tour, gold-rush locker rooms, you’ll see the actual field on the tour and the NRG solar terrace and the broadcast booth. We really wanted to combine areas that you otherwise would not see on game day,” said 49ers Chief Operating Officer Al Guido.
“You’ll get a bunch of information about how the stadium was built, what areas you’re in, all those things,” he said.
The entire course of the guided tour takes about one hour to complete.
“When we were looking at options we wanted to make sure that every single 49ers fan, or fan of the building or tourist coming in the area was able to do it at an affordable price.
Tours begin August 8th and can be booked now from their website.
