Search On For Armed Suspect After Hit-And-Run Crash On San Mateo Bridge

FOSTER CITY (CBS SF) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision that happened on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge Friday morning.

The collision was reported around 5:15 a.m. when a dark Toyota struck a Porsche on westbound state Highway 92 and fled, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said.

The Toyota was found abandoned off of the freeway in Foster City and the CHP is looking for four Hispanic males near the marina and around hotels in the area, Anderson said. One of those suspects is believed to be armed.

The driver of the Porsche complained of pain from the collision, Anderson said.
