Cars Overturns In Crash Along Busy SF Lombard Street; 1 Injured

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A woman was hospitalized in a crash along a busy thoroughfare in San Francisco that resulted in one of the cars flipped over.

It happened Monday afternoon at Lombard and Franklin streets. Aside from the more famous curved segment, Lombard St. is heavily-transited east-west route to the Golden Gate Bridge.

The overturned car caused some traffic gridlock along Lombard. The driver of the overturned car said he somehow clipped another car and ended up upside down.

He was not injured but a woman in the other car was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
