Kiefer Sutherland Responds To Freddie Prinze Jr.'s 'Unprofessional' Comments

SAN DIEGO (CBS NEWS) - Kiefer Sutherland has responded to those negative comments about him made by Freddie Prinze Jr. at Comic-Con.

After the "She's All That" star said working with Sutherland on "24" in 2010 made him want to quit acting, the man who plays Jack Bauer had some (more diplomatic) words of his own to share.

"Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze, Jr. more than 5 years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie's grievances," Sutherland's rep said. "Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."

During an appearance at Comic-Con, Prinze told ABC News that he "hated every moment" of his time on "24."

"Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world," he said. "That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face, I think everyone that's worked with him has said that."

Prinze added, "I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

The actor was at Comic-Con promoting his new "Disney XD" series "Star Wars Rebels" produced by San Francisco-based Disney/Lucasfilm. Sutherland, as it happened, was also there in support of "24: Live Another Day."
