6-Month-Old Girl Taken From Santa Barbara Found, Amber Alert Canceled

SANTA BARBARA (CBS SF) — A 6-month-old girl who was abducted from Santa Barbara on Sunday night has been found safe, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A statewide Amber Alert had been issued after 28-year-old Joshua Ivan Martinez allegedly took Nayeli Martinez around 9 p.m. Sunday, CHP officials said.

Nayeli was found safe Monday night and the alert has been canceled, according to the CHP.

Anyone with information is asked to call Santa Barbara police at (805) 897-2410.
