Massive Fire Burns Historic Dock In Martinez
MARTINEZ (CBS SF) -- Police and firefighters responded Sunday night to the Martinez Marina to a fire on the pier.
The fire was reported at 10:52 p.m. on the end of a public dock at an old ferry terminal no longer in use at the Martinez Marina.
Contra Costa Consolidated Fire Firefighters say the damage was contained to the pier and the surrounding pillars.
There were no reports of injury or damage to personal property. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
