Monsoonal Moisture Giving Way To Warmer Bay Area Temperatures

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) - Showers Wednesday morning have moved on and the Bay Area is now looking at a warmup, back to seasonal temperatures across the Bay Area.

Monsoonal moisture had given the region a tropical feel for more than 24 hours, but KPIX Meteorologist Lawrence Karnow says that the skies should be clear with sunshine this afternoon with comfortable to warm temperatures.

The Central Valley will see temperatures into the 90's. 90's could also be on tap for the inland Bay Area, with 70's and 80's expected closer to the coast. The warmup is expected to continue well into the weekend.
