Jump On Tomorrow: Outside Lands, 49ers Museum Opens, Caldecott Tunnel Work

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Good news for 49ers fans who want to relive the glory days of their favorite team. The 49ers museum at Levi's Stadium opens Friday. And if you want to get an official tour of the new digs, the stadium is also starting guided tours of the facility to the public.

Outside lands music festival kicks off Friday in Golden Gate Park. Headliners include Kanye West on Friday, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers on Saturday, and the Killers on Sunday. Tickets are currently sold out on the official Outside Lands website.

A rock and roll icon and heroine of Haight Ashbury during the 60's is getting a big honor Friday. Janis Joplin is on a new limited edition forever stamp. The ceremony will very appropriately be at Outside Lands on the panhandle stage Friday at 1:30 p.m.

Listen up if you plan on driving through the Caldecott tunnel Friday. Caltrans is closing eastbound bore 2 to finish up the work on the eastbound approach. They will close the bore at 8pm Friday night and reopen at noon on saturday.

Friday, a huge part of the San Antonio district in Oakland is getting a fresh start, with community groups and Oakland public works teaming up to get rid of graffiti. They are going to target a four block radius of the community.

One day after the 49ers first preseason game, Aldon smith is meeting with the big boss of the NFL to discuss his suspension. According to an source, the all-pro outside linebacker is set to meet with commissioner Rodger Goodell Friday to discuss his suspension over his DUI arrests, weapons violations and making a false bomb threat at LAX.
