SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A man held up a bank in downtown San Francisco Thursday afternoon, police said.

The robber, believed to be between 35 and 45 years old, entered the bank around noon in the 700 block of Market Street, police said.

A Chase Bank branch is located at 700 Market St. A bank employee said she was not able to comment on the incident.

The man approached a female employee in her 30s and simulated a weapon and demanded cash, police said.

The woman complied and the suspect ran away with the money, police said.

He has not been arrested as of Friday afternoon.
