San Francisco Adult Clubs Low On Staff Host Stripper Job Fair
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Strip clubs having a tough time recruiting new talent hosted a job fair Monday to find the best in the business — further proof of a rebounding economy.
“San Francisco has one of the lowest unemployment rates,” said Axel Sang, director of marketing for BSC Management, the company that manages several night clubs in North Beach. “It’s been hard for us to find good qualified hospitality staff.”

It’s easier in a bad economy, but now jobs go wanting. BSC Management, along with a group of other adult clubs, hosted the job fair at the Holiday Inn in Fisherman’s Wharf to look for staff like bartenders, door hosts and entertainers.
Entertainers can make anywhere from $200-400 a night, according to one job fair attendee.
“Being an entertainer is an honest living,” one job seeker said. “It’s legit and we’re not doing anything we’re not supposed to be doing.”
Kiana came from Tracy, Calif. to attend the fair. “Unfortunately my parents couldn’t afford to put me in ballet so I could be in Julliard,” she said. “I have a nice body … why not show it off?”
Clubs were interviewing and hiring job seekers on the spot Monday.
