Firefighters Knock Out Blaze At 2-Story Hayward Home

HAYWARD (CBS SF) --  A fire was extinguished about 20 minutes after being reported at a two-story house near a high school in Hayward Thursday morning, a fire captain said.

The blaze was reported at 7:01 a.m. in the 2000 block of Park Arroyo Place, located near Mt. Eden High School, Hayward fire spokesman Capt. Don Nichelson said.

No injuries were reported in the fire, Nichelson said.

He did not have information yet on what might have sparked the blaze.
