Throughout the special, Nantz will introduce behind-the-scenes moments and cast interviews of each of the five new series including, “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Scorpion,” “Stalker,” and “The McCarthys.”

“Madam Secretary,” the new fall drama stars Téa Leoni as the newly appointed U.S. Secretary of State; “NCIS: New Orleans,” is a spinoff of the networks number one drama series “NCIS,” starring Golden Globe winner Scott Bakula; “Scorpion,” a high-octane drama stars Elyes Gabel, Robert Patrick and Katharine McPhee, inspired by the true story of an eccentric genius and his team of brilliant misfits working to protect the U.S. from high-tech threats. Also new this season, “Stalker,” stars Maggie Q and Golden Globe Awards winner Dylan McDermott as detectives who delve into the minds of stalkers to protect their targets from future incidents and lastly the ensemble comedy “The McCarthys,” stars Tyler Ritter, Joey McIntyre, Jimmy Dunn, Kelen Coleman, Jack McGee and three0time Emmy Awards winner Laurie Metcalf as members of a sports-crazy Boston family

In partnership with the NFL Network, the “Thursday Night Football” broadcasts will feature CBS’s lead broadcasters and production team, including Jim Nantz and Phil Simms along with Tracy Wolfson. “Thursday Night Football” kicks off on Sept. 11 with Pittsburgh-Baltimore from M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. CBS’s James Brown and Bill Cowher, along with NFL Network’s Deion Sanders, also will team up on the CBS and NFL Network primetime pre-game and halftime coverage each Thursday night.
